Aaron's Dashboard

Aaron Rents needed to allow regional and general managers to be able to view store data in real-time on the web and on the move. This required creating an application that would recognize mobile devices and their capabilities. The solution utilizes ASP.NET (C#), AJAX, CSS 2-3 styling, user controls, and Telerik RadControls. The mobile version of the application adjusts certain user controls so that the information can be displayed on devices that don’t support flash or CSS3. Finally, the application supports two types of authentication: Domain Authentication and POS credentials.

All statistical data has been blurred out per request of Aaron Rents.

Aaron's Dashboard Telerik Chart

Using the .NET AJAX UploadPanel and the Telerik RadChart Control users can maximize the Customer Count chart, zoom in on a specific date range, or change how far back the chart goes without having to refresh the entire page.

Aaron's Dashboard Mobile

The mobile version of the dashboard only displayed on stat at a time. Additionally, because most devices don't support advanced CSS, Java, or Flash the Customer Count chart utilizes Google Chart's API to create a static image. The user can easily jump to another store or get key information by selecting one of the icons up top.

Besides reading, I have fun taking my pit bull, Bailey, out on walks, to parks, and swimming. I love going down the Santa Fe River or the Ichetucknee Springs. I also like to take time to appreciate the town by taking a nice bike ride every now and then. Although I don’t currently own a salt water tank, I enjoy visiting Aquatropics every now and then because I find salt water aquaria incredibly interesting. When I’m not busy doing any of the above, I take some time out for myself and enjoy some quality TV (House, NCIS, Criminal Minds, and Breaking Bad to name a few). The theme that runs through my mind everyday is “Hakuna Matata.” Click here to view my resume.
